Jess Garrison

Jess Garrison is a third generation resident of Spring Lake, MI. He developed an early fascination with realty as a result of a role model and mentor who inspired him to go into the profession. He graduated from Spring Lake High School in 2005, where he played football, basketball and ran track. After high school, Jess attended Michigan State University.
His father is experienced and talented in construction and taught Jess many different aspects of the trade. This in-depth knowledge of construction gave Jess an edge in the local real estate industry, and his success came quickly in the Lakeshore markets.
An active member of the community, Jess serves on the Board of Directors for the OAR Family Center, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program and is one of the upcoming Spring Lake Rotary presidents. His love for the West Michigan area has led him to be very knowledgeable of the region.
Skylar Garrison

Skylar (Bench) Garrison is a third-generation resident of Spring Lake with deep roots in the community. After graduating from Grand Valley State University in 2015, she began her career with the Ottawa County Health Department, working in Environmental Health.
In 2020, after welcoming her first child with her husband, Jess, Skylar chose to step away from her role to focus on raising her family. During that time, she began assisting Jess with client relations and quickly discovered a passion for the real estate industry.
Following the birth of their second child in 2022, Skylar decided to pursue real estate more fully. She earned her license in early 2023 and now works alongside Jess—who currently serves as a manager at Coldwell Banker—helping clients navigate the home buying and selling process.
With the addition of their third child in 2024, Skylar stays busy balancing family life and her growing real estate career. She is excited to connect with clients and help them find the perfect place to call home.
Trent Sievertsen

Native to Spring Lake, Michigan, Trent developed a passion for home design at a young age. His interest deepened in 2015 when his mother began remodeling homes, and he had the opportunity to work closely on numerous projects with her. Through this hands-on experience, Trent explored every aspect of creating beautiful, functional interiors. More importantly, he discovered the power of matching buyers with homes they truly loved.
Throughout high school, Trent played tennis and took college-level courses in architecture and home design. In his spare time, he immersed himself in the real-estate market, regularly tracking available homes. Because of this interest, he was able to assist multiple family members in finding homes that suited their needs. After graduating from Spring Lake High School, Trent was quick to jump into realty and begin his career.
Now, Trent brings his creative vision and market expertise to help clients navigate the exciting world of real estate. Lauren was born and raised in Grand Haven. She is a twin and one of five children. She attended Spring Lake High School and earned a Nursing Degree from Valparaiso University. Lauren is married to Aaron Adams and has four children. They have resided in East Grand Rapids since 2020. She loves to spend time on the lakeshore where many family and friends still are. Her family loves sports, games, and outdoor time! They love to travel and try new things.
Lauren became a realtor because she has always enjoyed house hunting and working with others. She is passionate about advocating for others to find and meet their needs. Real estate allows her to utilize her market knowledge and strong relationships to assist others in landing the perfect home! Clients can expect transparency, trust, and respect from her! She is grateful to be a part of such an amazing West Michigan community and looks forward to a career in real estate.

Hailing from Norton Shores, with a legacy of achievement and service in her community, Sydney (Tharp) Recknagel understands the importance of balance and perseverance. After graduating from Olivet College in 2016 with degrees in biology and psychology, she coached high school sports and worked as a medical assistant. Realizing her passion for true servant leadership within her community, she earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching and curriculum from Michigan State University in 2020.
Currently a devoted stepmother of four and a dedicated science teacher and softball coach at Reeths-Puffer High School, she knows the value of hard work and determination – traits that define her approach to every client interaction. She is inspired by her appreciation for the unique character of homes and their ability to reflect their residents and is committed to helping clients find properties that align with their lifestyle and aspirations.

Born in Escanaba, Michigan, I spent just a few chilly winters there before my family moved to North Muskegon, where I attended school from K–12. Growing up with all brothers taught me early on how to be resilient, adaptable, and determined. After high school, I attended Central Michigan University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Preventative Medicine.
I spent several years working in hospital settings before realizing I was ready for a career change — one that allowed me to build lasting relationships and help people through some of life’s biggest moments. In January 2018, I made the leap into real estate, a family industry, and never looked back. In 2022, after completing over 100 hours of education and passing a rigorous state exam, I earned my Associate Broker license.
That education, experience, and dedication allow me to confidently serve my clients with knowledge, care, and integrity — every step of the way.
